Hello everyone! This update includes the new Speed Run Mode containing some community-requested features, a bunch of bug-fixes and a small balance pass. The developers have done well to replicate the 'NES difficulty' in this game which was exactly the impression people had of the Souls game. The lack of variety in weapons is made up for with the skill trees. So far I don't think any of the sidequests provide anything more than lore (just found out this isn't true).ДЄny soulsborne fan might enjoy this for the difficulty and complexity of the boss battles, but that's just about it. I honestly haven't cared too much about any of the lore or exploration but I'll veer off the beaten path every once in a while to find any collectibles. I'm still in NG, but I'm sure I'll enjoy trying other builds in postgame. The ability to respec at any time is a nice feature, making this seem more like a sandbox game.

Battles are extremely tight and are often more a test of endurance than skill.

Wherein mistakes are somewhat tolerated generally in a Soulsborne game, here if things go south for you, your run ends pretty quickly. Otherwise the game just feels like a tightly difficult boss rush.
